I am in my 30’s and started to have oily skin with breakouts on chin. it is driving me crazy! I use Estee lauder products but now i want to try something different. Has anyone tried the Clinique line of acne cleanser steps and liked it? Or does Lancome or Estee lauder have one that is good! What is the best foundation also for oiler skin!
thanks.

Well I know it may sound crazy given the ads on tv BUT
proactive really did change my world around with regard to daily cleansing. I used many different lines in the past but consistenly proactive has worked. They offer cleansors and a line of make up which is great! The best part is if you don’t like it send it back and stop ordering it. They have ordering their line of facial products set up as a "club" so the products come on a reg. basis (you decide how often 2 months, 4 months, etc.) but there is no club fee and no termination fee. Try it – it worked for me and I was a serious doubting girl. I spent lots of $$ on department store brands prior to switching without any lasting success. I’ve been using Proactive for over a year now and am still very pleased with the results.
Good luck!

what skin care products work best for oily skin? cleanser, toner, moisturizer, etc. and i also need a moisturizer with sunscreen for daytime.

If you are grown and experience oily skin, start looking at the products that you are using. The oiliness of your skin is attributed
to hormones and genetics, however, most people who experience very oily skin often have the problem from using too many chemical products. Your skin may be oily because it has been stripped of it’s natural moisture. You want to avoid ANY over the counter acne treatment or products for oily skin. These products are alcohol based and will strip your skin’s natural oils away. At this point, your body kicks into overdrive. Thinking that your skin is too dry, because the natural oils are gone, your brain tells your body to make more oil. This of course causes your skin to become more oily, and
the cycle never ends. The key to getting rid of Oily skin is finding balance. Here’s what to do for oily skin:

1) Do not use over the counter acne products (no alcohol or Benzoyl Peroxide)- They will dry your skin causing over-stimulation of the oil glands.

2) Look for products that are natural and contain HIGH concentrations of aloe. It should be in the first 3 to 5 ingredients of any product you buy. **Aloette products are recommended.**

3) Start the following regimen:
*Cleanse with mild cleanser (preferably aloe based).
*Tone (The purpose of a toner is to act as the "rinse cycle" for your face. Everyone should use toner after washing the face to
remove any left over cleansers or dirt. Do not use a toner with alcohol in it. You can buy alcohol free toners or use witch hazel.
It’s the perfect natural toner for most skin types.)
*Nourish – Drink Water, take vitamins& zinc, and apply topical vitamin C to your skin.
* Moisturize – There is a difference in Oil and Moisture, your skin needs moisture to be healthy, A good vitamin C cream will
help kill bacteria too.
*Exfoliate – at least 2 times per week- DO NOT let dead skin cells build up on the surface and clog your pores.

My face is always so oily and recently I’ve been getting more zits, but my budget is a little tight. Any suggestions?

The most sought-after topical acne solutions are readily found over-the-counter. Though this is the case, you are still encouraged to visit your dermatologists. Benzoyl Peroxide is the most usual topical solution that is recommended to treat acne. It can be acquired in various formulations like gels, lotions, cleansers and creams. This medication is usually required to be used once or twice a day, depending on the condition of your problem. Skin inflammation or redness is one of the results of this topical solution but gradually diminishes through time.

I’m 17 & I have really bad acne & blackheads and oily skin but i work in fast food so i’m around oil ALL the time and it seems to only make it worst. what can i use to help control & get rid of my acne & blackheads?

I have acne to but ever since I started using Biore my skin is so much better but I’m still working on making it better, but you need about 5 products and that will cost around $25-$30 but they last. I’ve been doing this for about 3 weeks and I have not had any break outs.

In the morning use Biore Pore Minimizing Face wash. It has a few beads and is almost like a hair gel texture. I find it reduces shine and I gets really foamy when some water is added. I like that product a lot.

In the day time when your at work you should use Biore cleansing cloths on your breaks, they are all ready moist so you don’t need to add water.

Before you go to sleep use Biore Pore Unclogging Scrub, some people say not to use a scrub everyday but this is very mild with not to many beads it also makes your face feel cold after. Wash that off then apply Biore skin recharging foaming cleanser it is very relaxing, wash off that then apply Clean&Clear spot treatment invisable.

Good luck!

So I have really oily skin on my face. Like really oily, no joke.

Anyway, I have used tanning lotion on my body, but I want to put some on my face to even it out.

Is this fine or am I going to have a nice, sun kissed, camoflauge psychadelic pattern on my forehead?

it will slide off. that stuff is not reliable. but, i heard to apply a powder and then put it on. idk.
