I have new queen-sized 100% cotton sheets that are beautiful but wrinkle really badly, They’re much too big to iron, particularly for a senior citizen like me.

A friend suggested a Downy wrinkle-release product but it’s very expensive. Someone else said she made her own wrinkle-release spray by combining fabric softener and water. Would that work? Does anybody know the formula?

Other than fabric spray, how can I get the wrinkles out of dryer-dried sheets without ironing them?

You can steam the wrinkles out in the dryer by putting a fully wet washcloth in the dryer with the sheets, and then take the sheets out the second they’re dry. It takes a little bit of practice to get it right, but it works and it’s free!

From now on when you dry your sheets, take them out as soon as they’re dry and fold them, and then you won’t have the wrinkle problem. They’re wrinkling because they’re getting too hot and too dry.

Also, make sure you dry your sheets on the medium heat setting. If that’s too hot, switch to the low heat setting. Cotton can only take so much! Good luck.

Im 13 and have a wrinkle between my eyebrows!:(
I mean come on I’m 13!!!!!!!!!!!
Its seriously ruining my life.
Like I said on my other questions my Dad works like 24/7 so he wouldn’t really like take me no where. I usually rely on me:) But back to this how can I cure my wrinkle.
It makes me so depressed It makes me feel ugly
Please give me cures to help remove this wrinkle and well of course no surgery considering im 13.

I happens when you frown a lot, and your eyebrows go down. Same when you smile, you get wrinkles on your forehead from raising your eyebrows, but people think better of those with happy wrinkles than mad, so don’t stop smiling! Anywho, is the wrinkle really that bad? You can try using an avacado mask and cucumbers, or a wrinkle-cream.

I’m looking for a quality product for my eyes and face that is wrinkle PREVENTION. Something with a high SPF would be nice since I have fair skin and live in the desert. How do Mary Kay and Avon products against products like este lauder and lancome?
Great advice everyone but I need prevention….at 25, I don’t have wrinkles, yet, but I’d like to start a regimen NOW to keep them at bay.

You don’t need a wrinkle cream sunshine. In fact, most wrinkle creams just contain irritants that make the skin swell, creating a temporary fix, but damaging the skin, intensifying the problem later on.

If you really must, use a cream that does not promise instant results. Make sure it’s just a collagen cream and doesn’t contain any sort of irritants; this may take some research.

But in reality, you don’t need it. The best thing you can do for your skin now, to minimize wrinkles in the future is to use sun screen, eat a healthy diet full of antioxidants, and refrain from activities like smoking.

What he needs is a garment bag. I’ve had one for years, and it works like a charm. Have packed a suit and shirts a number of times, and they look just fine after traveling. Here’s some that Target sells, but you can buy them at WalMart as well, or any other place that sells luggage. http://www.target.com/Garment-Bags-Luggage/b?ie=UTF8&node=1116290

I just put my clothes to dry and I always used the same setting. But today I used a different setting, it goes for 20 minutes on high, 10 on low then uses a wrinkle guard. But what does the wrinkle guard do? Thats what I wanna know.

Some dryers also have a "wrinkle guard" feature, which tumbles the clothes in cool (room-temperature) air for a period of time AFTER the cycle has otherwise completely ended (both the heating/drying period and the normal cool down). This is an extra defense against wrinkles that may still occur if the clothes aren’t removed right away and instead left stationary in the drum. Wrinkle guard is typically enabled automatically when the perm press cycle is used, and may be optionally selectable for other cycles. Some dryers tumble continuously during the "wrinkle guard" period (for 45 mins maximum or so). Others turn on and off to tumble for maybe 30 seconds every 5 minutes, for a maximum of a couple hrs or so. Opening the door to unload cancels the wrinkle guard function.

I am flying to London during the 2nd week in July for work and have to bring my suit. I don’t feel like dropping $$ for one of those suit carrying bags. Any thoughts of how to keep my suit wrinkle free during travel? I was told that hanging my suit in the shower with hot water running (not getting the suit wet), the steam will "de-wrinkle" the suit. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance for the help!!

Personally I’d go for a suit carrier if you can borrow one, or even pick one up on your local freecycle…

If thats not possible, then pack it in the bottom of your suitcase, as flat as possible, with as few folds as possible. I normally lay the jacket on the bed, closed as if it was buttoned, but with an overlap. Fold the sleeves over the jacket so it looks as if the wearer would be holding his own hands with straight arms. Then fold the whole lot in half (if necessary) to fit in the bottom of the suitcase. When you get to your desitination, the steaming trick in the hot shower normally works well with natural fibers such as cotton or wool.
